What to expect when applying and joining as a founding member.
Applying is free. Membership service, cancellation and refund details are provided before payment.
Applications and membership
Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Applications are reviewed manually. Applying does not guarantee admission, create a paid subscription or require payment. Accepted applicants receive membership instructions privately. A paying membership is required to participate.
Payment and cancellation
The monthly price shown on the landing page is the proposed founding price. The price and subscription terms offered to you will be confirmed before you pay through Stripe. This MVP does not promise a lifetime discount.
You may cancel future renewals at any time using the cancellation instructions provided when joining. Unless otherwise communicated or required by law, access continues through the paid period. A change to future pricing must be communicated before it takes effect.
Before you pay
This application does not collect payments. If you are accepted, you will receive the service start details and full cancellation and refund conditions before being asked to pay. Contact quietfolk.contact@gmail.com with questions. Applicable consumer rights continue to apply.
Conversations and third-party services
Membership includes community access and personal introductions, rather than a guaranteed number of conversations or a guaranteed match. Members choose whether and how to engage. Stripe and Discord are third-party services subject to their own terms.
Moderation and termination
Follow the community guidelines. Operators may restrict contact, suspend access or terminate membership for prohibited behavior, safety concerns or attempts to evade moderation. The operator decides appropriate action based on the circumstances and communicates relevant membership/billing consequences. Cancellation, removal of access and subscription handling are performed manually.
Respect and responsibility
Use your own identity consistently; do not impersonate others. Respect consent and privacy. Payment and application review reduce some friction but do not guarantee anyone’s identity, intentions or safety. Report concerns rather than sharing private conversations publicly.
